Prozone to Provide U.S. Soccer Federation with Global Player Performance Analysis

CHICAGO – Oct. 9, 2015 – Prozone, a pioneer in sports performance and analysis, recently signed a landmark deal with the U.S. Soccer Federation to deliver a wide range of services to the U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) and U.S. Women’s National Team (USWNT). Prozone, which was purchased by STATS LLC in May 2015, will provide the U.S. National Teams its advanced video and analytics platforms that are used by soccer clubs and leagues all over the world.

As part of the deal, the USMNT and USWNT will have access to the PROZONE3 and MATCHVIEWER systems for all international fixtures. By supporting players and staff with detailed technical and physical performance information, the insights derived by the technology will transform the teams’ match preparation and opposition scouting processes.

Both teams will also be provided with access to the REALVIEW and GAMEPLAN platforms in order to enhance the presentation and sharing of key information. An elite telestrator system, REALVIEW is designed to deliver an interactive and engaging analysis experience, while the GAMEPLAN application enables data, reports and video to be instantly shared to the mobile devices of players and coaches.

“Prozone has been an essential tool for U.S. Soccer and we are looking forward to continuing our partnership,” said U.S. Soccer Director of Communications Neil Buethe. “The insights we derive from the data provided by Prozone are used to enhance the development and on-field performance of our players and teams at all levels.”

The new agreement will also provide the U.S. MNT with a unique monitoring service, which will highlight all potential player pool selections across all of the leagues they currently play in worldwide. This service tracks the performances of American players across the globe by archiving video clips from all games played and are sortable by individual players.

In addition to the services provided to the senior national teams, Prozone will process over 900 U.S. Soccer Development Academy games. These games will be processed throughout the year, with the data made available to academy teams through MATCHVIEWER and used to provide age-group benchmarks for U.S. Soccer.

“We are delighted to partner with U.S. Soccer in an agreement which will see our services used across many of the federation’s teams and departments,” said Stewart Mairs, Prozone’s U.S. Football (Soccer) Operations Manager. “The insights provided will also be used in the coach education process to help raise awareness of performance analysis techniques for future generations of coaches. We look forward to continuing our support of U.S. Soccer and providing a holistic service solution which can continue to develop performance on the field.”
